Mark your calendars Southwest Louisiana it's time for a delicious, finger-lickin' good get-together! Make plans to attend the 2nd Annual Chicken Fest in Sulphur Louisiana. For the second year in a row, the festival will take place at the West Cal Cam Arena at 401 Arena Road in Sulphur, LA 70663 on July 20, 2024.

The 2nd Annual Chicken Fest features a variety of contests and competitions you want to miss. If you are a car enthusiast, you are in for a treat! Some of the finest vehicles on the planet will be on display at the Show & Shine Car Show.

There is so much to see and do. This event has something to entertain everyone in the family young and old. The public is invited to take part in a day full of family fun, entertainment, activities, great food, and arts & crafts from local and out-of-town vendors.

CHICKEN PAGEANT - YOUTH DIVISION

  • RULES: Make sure your hen is the Bell of The Ball! Humans presenting hens on stage in the youth division must be under the age of 15. For more info or to register to compete in the Youth Chicken Pageant, click HERE.
  • Registration Fee: $20/ per Hen

CHICKEN PAGEANT - ADULT DIVISION

  • RULES: Humans presenting hens must be 15 years old or older. Hens only, please.

  • Registration Fee: $20/hen
  • Sign In: 12:45 PM
  • Adult Hen Competition Begins: 1:30 PM

WING EATING COMPETITION

  • RULES:  Must be 18 or older to compete. If you have a serious health problem or condition/ailment you may not compete. Whoever finishes the faster and cleans their wings to the bone, wins. If there's a tie, the competitor will face off in a 'Supreme Heat Runoff' to determine the winner.   • Competition Includes Three Rounds: Round 1: 15 Wings - Medium, Round 2: 10 Wings - Hot, and Round 3: 5 Wings - Blazing
