Lainey Wilson’s Bad Habit With Miranda Lambert? Smoking Cigs!
Lainey Wilson just dropped her new album, Whirlwind (Aug. 23), which features a collaboration with Miranda Lambert called "Good Horses."
The two have similar personalities and have become pretty good friends while working together — Wilson calls Lambert her "country music big sister" — and they've had the chance to hang out casually, too.
On the latest episode Taste of Country Nights: On Demand, host Evan Paul wanted to know what it's like when two fierce stars come together in their off time. So, he asked her to fill in the blank:
"One time I got drunk with Miranda Lambert and _____."
"Smoked too many cigarettes," Wilson says quickly, laughing out loud.
"I don't smoke unless I'm around her," she admits. "She does it to me every time. I'm like, 'Lord!'"
Evan Paul had to guess: Lambert smokes menthols?
The "Hang Tight Honey" singer confirms yes, that's the case.
"You know it. Look, in college I used to be about them Camel Crushes," Wilson dishes. "Pop the end. I don't know if it was 'cause I liked popping the end, but I liked them a little too much, yep."
Wilson's new branded bar, Bell Bottoms Up in downtown Nashville, sits just down the street from Lambert's Casa Rosa.
"We kinda have a lot in common," Wilson says, speaking of her buddy Miranda. "She tells me what to do and what not to do. She checks on me, cares for me, she's like, 'Where you at? How's your head? How's your heart?'"
Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. He plays the best new country music and interviews today's top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!
