A Florida man is busted for drugs after a seven mile pursuit that took place on I-10. The chase began in Acadia Parish and ended in Jefferson Davis Parish shortly after 6 PM Thursday.

Louisiana State police have arrested a second Louisiana lawman on charges of misuse of office and drug distribution.

Operation 27 was a combined effort by the Louisiana State Police, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, the Lake Charles Police Department, Homeland Security, The Drug Enforcement Agency and the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office. The arrest total stands at 24 now with more coming. We have a list of those who were busted for you.

On March 11, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a Sulphur gas station regarding two men sleeping inside a car parked at the gas pumps.

According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's press release Lacey C. Dronet held a 14 year old girl against her will between July 12th and 18th. The victim did ask to go home and even tried to escape during that time.

Thanks to an anonymous tip; Calcasieu parish Sheriff's deputies have removed another dangerous meth lab. This one was in Moss Bluff.

We have all dialed the wrong number before. We usually just say "wrong number, sorry." This idiot decided to ask a complete stranger for drugs. It did not work out to well.
