The Lake Charles Police Department has reportedly made an arrest in connection to the home invasion that took place on L'Acadie on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

A home invasion took place on L'Acadie Drive where the suspect forced his way into the home and beat the resident. The incident was caught on surveillance video.

Police are looking for two male suspects after they burst into a man's home in the early morning hours Tuesday and shot a three-year-old child in Lake Charles.

According to a press releases from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, 54-year-old Larry W. Loya, was arrested for home invasion and attempted second degree murder on November 11th, after he forced his way into the home of a female, with a knife.
