Tim McGraw's performance of his latest tune "Thought About You" for CBS's Super Bowl LIII pregame show, The Super Bowl Today, Sunday (Feb. 3) was enough in itself to get the pumped-up Atlanta crowd ready for a little football. Fans can watch above if they were too busy scarfing seven-layer dip to catch the actual broadcast!

However, McGraw amped things up considerably with his encore, a rendition of his hit "I Like it, I Love it" — as he surprised the audience by bringing out one of Georgia's favorite natives, none other than Kane Brown, to join him on stage for some pre-game fun.

As McGraw's initial song had already been announced and fans were expecting exactly that, the surprise encore packed a wallop. Fans in Mercedes-Benz Stadium waiting for the Los Angeles Rams-New England Patriots matchup were able to see the show as well, as it was broadcast on screens inside the facility.

McGraw and Brown's performance preceded, of course, the game's halftime entertainment, headed up by pop group Maroon 5. The National Anthem was set to be performed by soul legend Gladys Knight. It's been some time since a country artist has headlined the halftime show, but Luke Bryan had the honor of singing the national anthem at the 2017 Super Bow.
