Get ready folks, Southwest Louisiana and Westlake, Louisiana is getting a new festival. It's called West Fest 2023 and is coming your way in October of this year. We spoke with the Mayor of Westlake Hal McMillin who broke the news to us.

Mayor McMillin and the entire city council are excited to bring a cool new festival to the Westlake and Southwest Louisiana area where you can bring the entire family. The festival will feature live music, a petting zoo, food vendors, and arts and crafts vendors.
