I was born and raised in SWLA. I grew up in Moss Bluff and graduated from Sam Houston High and McNeese. I love the culture of our amazing area, from the food and music to the southern hospitality! As Jim Harbaugh says, “Who has it better than us? NOOOOBODY!” Music is my muse and radio is my passion. My love affair with radio began at the wee age of 8 and, to this day, I don’t feel comfortable unless a mic is in front of me and the speakers are blasting
Growing up in New Orleans, I knew I wanted to be a DJ since I was a kid. I eventually got the opportunity to be on-air and haven't looked back since. Being in radio, I've had the opportunity to DJ at clubs across the gulf coast. I was raised on Star Wars, spent post-college years with South Park, and am a fan of Game of Thrones and living the cruise ship life (rarely).
I am incredibly blessed that the fine folks at TSM allow me to do what I enjoy every day. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and he still makes me feel like the prettiest girl in the room (even though I wake up looking like a troll!). I adore him, our three children, and our grand-daughter who calls me "Gigi." I love the beach and spending quiet weekends with my husband at home listening to great country music! I cut my teeth back in the day on Randy Travis, George Strait, The Judds, Reba, and Garth Brooks
Hey y'all. This Cajun Boy was born and raised right here in Southwest Louisiana, and I’ve lived here in Lake Charles most of my life. I went to Lagrange High (Geaux Gators) and McNeese State University in Lake Charles. I started in radio in 1990, and have been on three local frequencies: 99.5FM, 92.9FM, and 1470AM for my whole career. I love Country and Cajun music, bass fishing, cooking, drinkin’ beer in my backyard bar, and having a great time with my family and friends just like we do in SWLA
Every time he gets in front of the microphone, Bob Kingsley adds to his status as the most listened-to radio voice in country music history. The host and executive producer of Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40, far and away the most successful show of its kind, has been the king of the country countdown for three decades now, and to hear him tell it, the process retains every bit of its magic. "I love the music and the people who make it," he says, "and I want our listeners to have as much insight into both as it's possible to give them, and to make the experience as enjoyable as possible
Sam Alex has worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from Chicago, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 75 stations nationwide. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BBQ chicken pizza
