Balls Fried Chicken is a local favorite in Southwest Louisiana but folks in the area have been missing the restaurant since it was destroyed in 2020 by Hurricane Laura. The restaurant owners located on Enterprise Boulevard in Lake Charles have been working on rebuilding the popular eatery and were so close to opening when the storms today destroyed it again.

It breaks our heart as we are good friends with the owners and know how hard they had been working on the rebuild and how passionate they were about re-opening the restaurant back to Southwest Louisiana.

Angela Ball made the announcement on Facebook this morning saying,

Balls Chicken destroyed…AGAIN!! Our faithful employee was at the restaurant when the roof started coming off. We were SO close to opening! All the hard work we put into the restaurant, it’s now destroyed. Yet another delay for Ball’s Fried Chicken opening. We need prayers and maybe some help this time.

She also shared pictures of the damage that the restaurant suffered this morning during the intense storms that rolled through Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles this morning. She texted us and asked that we share the news.

Here are pictures of the damage both on the outside and inside of the restaurant.

We are so sad to have to report this but we want the owners to know that we are all here for you. Please let us know what we can do to help.
