Beats and Eats 2015 Fundraiser to be Held at Treasures of Marilyn’s on March 20

Volunteers of America will be hosting their “Beats and Eats 2015” fundraiser and auction on Friday, March 20^th from 6 pm to 9 pm at Treasures of Marilyn’s. The “Beats” portion of the program will be provided by Tommy Shreve & Friends.

I personally have donated my time for such functions and so have a couple of my own children. Nice to know that the acorn hasn't fallen far for the tree when it comes to special events like this in Gator Country.

Besides a buffet, there will also be an auction and all money raised will be used to support life-changing programs in our area.

Volunteers of America provide services such as assistance with finding housing for veterans, child care referral, services for the homeless, as well as many other programs here in Southwest Louisiana.
