Calcasieu Parish School Cancelled Wednesday

There's no denying the fact that this weather we are having in SWLA is cold, wet, and sorta frozen. The Calcasieu Parish School Board has been monitoring the weather predictions for tomorrow, January 17, and feel the roadways could still be potentially impacted with the freezing temperatures and rain. Therefore, all Calcasieu Parish Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17th.

In a press release, CPSB said, "The safety of our students, faculty, and staff will always be our primary focus, and we feel that this decision is in the best interest of all."
