Hunting season is right around the corner and the Calcasieu Parish Sherrif's Office is getting hunters ready with a hunters safety course at the end of July and the first day of August to get new or existing hunters certified.

In Louisiana, we all love hunting, and some of the things people like to hunt are deer, ducks, squirrels, doves, and alligators.

If you plan on getting outdoors to do some hunting and have never taken this class, you will need to take these classes to get certified before you can get out there and get a license and or hunt.
