Chris Young Injury Forces Him To Take Time Off [Video]

This morning with Kris and Scott, Jimmy Carter reported that Chris Young hopes to be back on the road this week following a surgery to repair tendons in his left hand.

Chris accidentally cut his hand  while fixing a late-night supper following last week's fan club party in Nashville. His mother Becky Harris posted on Facebook, “Chris has passed the ‘keep it elevated for 48 hours’ mark and can still move his fingers… He will be in a soft cast for another two weeks and then a hard cast for the next four after… We are still hoping he’ll be on the road later this week.”

Chris is scheduled to open for Dierks Bentley through the summer. The Riser tour continues tomorrow in Portland, Maine.
