Do you love the old country? Ever wanted to see a country music icon live in concert? Well here's your chance as country legend John Anderson will be in Lake Charles this weekend for a big concert.

You never want to use the word legend loosely but in the case of John Anderson, he truly is. He has been touring and recording music for almost 50 years now. He got started in 1974 and has been going strong ever since.

It took a few years to get going but John hit it big in 1980 and after that, he never looked back. in 1980 his first single hit the charts. The song that got it all started was She Just Started Liking Cheatin' Songs. Then in 1982, one of John's most legendary songs was released called Swingin' and became a massive hit for the singer from Apopka, Florida.

Since then, John has hit the charts with six #1 singles which include Seminole Wind, Black Sheep, Stright Tequila Night, Money In The Bank, and I Wish I Could Have Been There.

John Anderson will be making a stop in Lake Charles to perform live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center this Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. He will hit the stage at 8:00 p.m. that night. You can check with your usual ticket outlets and see if there are any more tickets still available or check with the Golden Nugget box office here in Lake Charles.
