Craig Morgan Turns 50 Today [VIDEO]
Black River Entertainment country recording artist Craig Morgan is celebrating the big 5-0 today. Many of you may not know but Craig's real name is Craig Morgan Greer. He was born in 1965 in Nashville Tennessee.
Craig burst on the country music scene in 2000 when he released his self title debut album on Atlantic records but as soon as it was released, Atlantic shut down their Nashville division and Craig Morgan found himself looking for another record label.
As luck would have it, he found a home with Broken Bow records which really kick started his career! He released three studio albums with the label from 2003 through 2006. Craig released I Love It in 2003, My Kind of Livin' in 2005 and Little Bit of Life in 2006.
The albums produced several hits including "That's What I Love About Sunday," which spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard country charts. By the way, it is also my favorite Craig Morgan song.
As luck would have it, that is Craig Morgan's only number one hit in his career. Don't get me wrong, he had some other huge hits like "Almost Home, "Redneck Yacht Club", "Little Bit of Life", "International Harvester" and "Bonfire".
Happy Birthday Craig! Here is the video for his number one hit "That's What I Love About Sunday".
