Disturbance in Atlantic
This hurricane season has been so slow that I am beginning to wonder what I am going to do with all this spam. Does it make a good etouffee? I am not complaining; but also not putting the rice on yet.
There is a disturbance midway between the Cape Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles. That's French for "in the middle of the Atlantic." It is moving to the west and has a very minimal chance of development; but we've heard that before. Do you remember when Eduardo became a hurricane after making landfall a few years ago? That to me proved that predictions don't mean a lot. We'll keep an eye on this for you. What is the shelf life of spam?
