A lot of you know that we lost both of our dogs last year. Budro, our Maltese was 14 and had to be put down, and Gator our infamous Australian Shepherd was 15 and was down in both back legs with arthritis and I found him in the bottom of the pool a month after we lost Budro. We got both of them when they were puppies so I'm sure you understand how we felt to lose them both and in a month apart. They both lived a long, healthy, and happy life.

But Lori and I both agreed that we were not going to get anymore dogs. Having animals is fun and they make great companions but having them has drawbacks too. If you want to leave for the weekend, you have to make sure your dogs are taken care of, vet bills, cleaning, etc. Well, so much for logic. Last weekend we found this little guy and he found us and now he lives at our house. And I got to tell you, after the first couple of nights I was saying "What was I Thinking". Getting up every couple of hours, listening to the crying and yelping, cleaning up poop and pee, dang, that's a job. Well he's doing a lot better now and we're having a great time together. In fact he slept all night last night. He's Australian Shepherd/Blue Healer and we just named him, actually he named himself. We would throw different names at him and see which one he responds to. Well ladies and gentlemen meet Charlie Brown.
