Katie Couric is being talked about as a possible replacement for Savannah Guthrie who will go on maternity leave from the Today show this summer.

Guthrie, who is five months pregnant, is expected to go on leave for a few months beginning this summer and NBC is working on finding a co-anchor to fill in for her. NBC says there have been no official talks yet with Couric, who left Today in 2006. Sources say Meredith Vieira is another possibility being considered, along with some "internal talent."
