Keith Urban Celebrates His 48th Birthday Today [VIDEO]

Country music superstar, American Idol judge and New Zealand native Keith Urban is celebrating his birthday today.  Keith Urban is born in New Zealand on this day in 1967.  Keith hit the country music scene in 1991 with a self title debut albumin Australia which spawned a few hits in that country.

Fast forward eight year's leater in 1999 Keith released his fir solo album in the United States which produced a platinum album and his first two number one songs for "But for the Grace of God". "Somebody Like You",  Since then, Keith Urban hasn't looked back.

I remember going to see Kenny Chesney in Beaumont back in the early 90's and Keith Urban was opening up for him.  The announcer said "Coming up is a new guy on the block but you may hear good stuff from him soon."  Boy was he right!

Since then, Keith urban has racked up 18 number one hits with the latest being "Raise em up" with Eric Church.
