Spring in Louisiana means that High School Baseball is in full swing, and if your team is still playing into May, that typically means your team has positioned itself well and is playing pretty deep into the postseason.

Well, that proves to be true once again for the Defending State Champion Pitkin Tigers as they played in the Quarterfinals on Tuesday Night. But what was noticed during the game is what is stealing the show.

Right now the LHSAA playoffs are in full swing and the Pitkin Tigers are trying to defend their 2023 Division V Non-Select State Championship. Former LSU Tiger JC Holt is the head coach of the Tigers and has the Tigers set up with the #1 overall seed this year in the Division V Non-Select Playoffs.

On Tuesday Night, they would have to face off against district rival Anacoco. The Tigers would get out to an early start scoring two runs in the bottom of the first as Brock Nolen would knock in a run and then they would score again on an error. The Tigers would eventually defeat the Indians 11-2 and punch their ticket back to the State Tournament in Sulphur.

Pitkin winning the game is cool and all, but what is taking the internet by storm was what happened in the outfield. With a packed house in Pitkin places to watch the game were hard to come by unless you're a couple of small-town boys.

As you can see in the picture below, these guys took matters into their own hands and decided to set up shop on the light pole with their TREE STANDS! Needless to say, they're not just good for the woods, they're also helpful in trying to watch a ballgame in the outfield! Check it out here:
