Is it too early to start talking about Christmas and events going on in Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles for the upcoming holiday? We don't think so. So many people love the Christmas holidays and get jazzed to see and or hear about any events coming to the area.

One of those events is The Nutcracker which will be performed right here in Lake Charles for a three-day run this December. It is presented by the Lake Area Ballet Theatre and they will be performing at all shows.

What is cool this year is they are giving not only the public a chance to come to see the show but they are offering school-only performances as well. Those special performances include private schools, home schools, and retirement centers, and the show is offered at a special reduced ticket rate.
