Lake Charles Thanksgiving Holiday Garbage Pick Up Schedule

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just one week away.  Where did the year go y'all?

The City Of Lake Charles has announced the altered schedule for your garbage and trash pickup for the Thanksgiving holiday next week.  If you get your trash picked up on Thursday or Friday of each week, you will be affected.

Katie Harrington with the City of Lake Charles said,

Trash and garbage regularly scheduled for pickup on Thursday will be rescheduled for pickup on Friday, November 23, 2018.

Trash and garbage regularly scheduled for pickup on Friday will be rescheduled for Saturday, November 24, 2018.

The Team Green Recycling Truck will not be available on the Thanksgiving Holiday, Thursday, November 22, 2018 and will resume regular recycling schedule Friday, November 23, 2018.

We all will have trash from our Thanksgiving meals and especially after going Black Friday shopping so plan ahead.
