Local Tips Lead to Hit and Run Driver Arrest

Local citizens helped bring an Iowa man to justice after police say he committed a hit-and-run crash on La. 101 in Lacassine.

Todd R. Myers, 26, of Iowa, was identified by concerned citizens who saw security camera stills from the Bayou Mart convenience store near the scene of the crash. The footage showed substantial pre-existing damage to Myers' vehicle. State troopers reported that Myers was arrested for failure to yield out of a private driveway as well.
