One of Southwest Louisiana's favorite country artists is returning to the Lake Charles area for one big show later this month. Country music and Louisiana boy Frank Foster is set to perform live in concert in January in the lake area later this month.

Frank Foster has done several concerts here in the Lake Charles area including playing at the Cowboy Country Fest and the popular Marshland Festival here in Lake Charles.

Frank from Cypress Bottom, Louisiana is one of those independent artists who has done it his way. He has never signed a national recording contract from one of the big boys in Nashville. Instead, he has released all of his albums himself and some of them have landed in the top 5 on the Billboard charts which is unheard of by someone with no national backing.

That is just how passionate his fans are for his music as they support everything he does and when he releases new music, they snatch it up and buy it and as a result, his record sales skyrocket and land him on the charts as an independent artist.

Frank's hit list includes Blue Collar Boys, Something About Being Free, Unwind, Red Bird, Backroad Boyz, and Rowdy Reputation. Here is that song.

Frank Foster will be stopping in Lake Charles on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, and will be performing live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center here in Lake Charles. Tickets can be made by going to the Golden Nugget's website or stopping by their box office on the second floor of the casino.
