Country music star and Louisiana boy Hunter Hayes is coming to Southwest Louisiana for a big concert. Hunter Hayes who was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana has been playing music since an early age.

Hunter Hayes began his musical journey at a young age and when he was around six years old, he released his first Cajun and Country music album called Through My Eyes in 2000. Hunter also was noticed by the national media back then as he performed on several nationally syndicated shows like Maury Povich. Here is on that show singing Jambalaya.

Hunter also hit the stage with the legendary Hank Williams Jr. when he was young playing on a big stage in front of thousands of people. Hank Jr introduces Hunter and then he comes on stage cranking on his accordion and singing. Check this out.

It was inevitable that Hunter would make his musical journey to Nashville one day and he did just that. He signed a record deal with Atlantic Nashville and off he went.  In 2012 he won the CMA award for New Artist of the Year after releasing his first Nashville album which produced some number one hits.

He churned out hits like I Want Crazy, Wanted, Storm Warning, 21, and Yesterday's Song to name a few. Here is his number one hit Wanted.

Delta Downs Racetrack Casino and Hotel have announced that Hunter Hayes will be coming to the venue for a live performance at the Delta Event Center on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
