Louisiana’s Latest Whataburger Announces Opening Date

If you are an avid listener to my show each morning you know how much I love Whataburger. I mean I talk about them all the time and bugged them enough that they now sponsor my show every morning.

We all were excited when we saw the first Whataburger come to Southwest Louisiana last year when the first one opened up on Highway 108 in Sulphur. Then we saw that the great folks at the orange and white eatery announced that they would be building another location, this time in Lake Charles.

The one in Lake Charles will be located on Country Club Road just East of Nelson Road. We have now seen for a couple of months the beginning of construction on the restaurant and have been waiting for them to announce when they would open the Lake Charles location.

Well, fear not my Southwest Louisiana folks, I got down to the bottom of it for you. I guess I will call it the perks of having them as a sponsor of my show. Ben the manager of the Lake Charles location came into the studio this morning and gave us the lowdown on the exact date and time the Lake Charles location will open up.

So let's let the cat out of the bag. The Lake Charles Whataburger location will open on Monday, March 4th, 2024 at 11:00 am. The exact address to the new Whataburger is 1835 Country Club Road in Lake Charles.

We are so excited that we will now have a Whataburger on both sides of the river, one in Lake Charles and one in Sulphur. Congrats Whataburger., we can't wait and I definitely can't wait to snag my #2 with Cheese!
