LCPD investigators have requested a judge to recall the first degree murder warrant used to arrest Justin D. Landry, so that he can be released from jail. After further investigation, detectives learned they were given wrong information about Landry’s involvement with the homicide. Kirkum also said, "Investigators will determine if the information was given as means to obstruct the investigation or because the witness made a mistaken identity."
