Rain Rain Go Away! The Father’s Day Weekend is Looking Wet

With Father's Day weekend around the corner, rain seems to be around there as well. The Gulf of Mexico will be taking in a few disorganized storms as the weekend approaches. Those storms may not have enough time to form anything more than a rain band, but it's still being watched closely.

What does that mean for the weekend? Well, so far, Saturday is calling for a 60% chance of rain and thunderstorms from the Gulf and that percentage climbing to 80% as Sunday approaches. With that much rain in the forecast and the rain we have had over the last week, flooding could be very possible over the weekend.

Long story short? Make an indoor backup plan, watch for flooded roads, and have a wonderful, wet Fathers day!
