The New Orleans Saints took over first place in the NFC South with a rare road win last night. The Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers 28-10 on the NFL Network's Thursday Night Football.

New Orleans defense frustrated Panthers QB Cam Newton for most of the game, and Saints RB Mark Ingrim ran for 100 yards as the Saints improved to 4-4 for the season, topping a disappointing NFC South division. Drew Brees passed for 297 yard, throwing 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
