For a week or so now we have been teasing a big announcement for today. Well, here it is. Your drive to work and school each weekday morning is about to get more interesting as two Southwest Louisiana boys have teamed up for a super-sized morning show.

We would like to announce and welcome the addition of Scotty Schadler to the Gator 99.5 morning show. Scotty is known by tons of people in Southwest Louisiana for his involvement in so many events as he volunteers to emcee Mardi Gras balls, benefits, and fundraisers, and his big involvement in raising money for breast cancer every October with the legendary events he puts on all October long.

Here is a little bit more about Scotty.

Scotty Schadler was born and raised in Sulphur, LA. He graduated from Sulphur High School in 2001 and holds an associate degree in Drafting Technologies from Delta Tech.

Scotty is known for his wild and crazy shirts, unique eyeglasses, and quick wit, and Scotty strives to be the life of the Party at any Event. In his spare time, he supports many local organizations throughout SWLA raising money for Cancer and Cancer Research.

Our Buddy Russ is smiling down from heaven today as Russ and Scotty were best friends. We lost Russ last March to Cancer and Scotty is just like Russ and has the same personality.

Another thing you should know about Scotty is that he is a very approachable guy and cares about his family, his friends, and especially his community of Southwest Louisiana which makes him a perfect fit here at Gator 99.5. We here at the station and all that work here have the same values.

Southwest Louisiana, we just have to warn you, mornings just got a lot crazier with these two together. Mike isn't quite right and Scotty loves to cut up as you can see from the pictures above, so with these two teaming up together, you never know what they will do.

So make sure to check out Mike & Scotty in The Morning on Gator 99.5 starting Monday, March 4th, 2024.
