With the unexpected death of Daryl Singletary, Platinum Records Nashville owner Greg Hudvik has released the final recording of the late country music star with proceeds going towards the Singletary family. Chuck Rhodes, Singletary's business partner has also made a statement in response to this release that the fund does not exist. He also stated that the song was sung by Singletary as a "singer for hire", where Singletary sang it as a demo only for the song to be heard by prospective singers. They were never mastered not properly produced. The song is called "She's Been Cheatin on Us". You read it right.

So not only is there no fund, the song was never really every meant for Singletary to actually do. In response to the fund not being set up, Hudvik claims it will be set up after the funeral is over and a time of grieving has passed. Then the Holly Singletary can decided whether she wants to keep the fund or stop it. Singletary not only left a wife behind, but 4 children as well. Although it's a great sentiment to the Singletary legacy, perhaps it would have been best to check with the family to see if it was ok, and perhaps let them pick the song. I don't give any "cool points" to Hudvik for his song choice. Perhaps "Too Much Fun" would have been a better song to release.
