Some Things You Might Not Know About Tim McGraw [Video]

Tim McGraw is everything from a three - time Grammy Award winner, a country music superstar, an actor, son of a famous baseball player, to a horse thief. How's that for a full life at only 46 years of age?

1-Tim was born Samuel Timothy Smith(his stepfather's last name). He didn't know his biological father was World Series Champion Edwin "Tug" McGraw Jr.(Phillies) until later in life. He was born in Delhi, La. and later lived in Start, La. He just happened to find out who his real father was at the age of 11 when he was digging in his mother's closet to see if he could find his Christmas presents.He found his birth certificate instead and confronted his mom about it.

2-Tim and Kenny Chesney once stole a mounted police horse in New York. Kenny asked permission to sit on the horse and was allowed to, but he took off on it and ignored the order to stop.When the deputies caught up with Kenny, Tim jumped in and attacked the deputies. Kenny was charged with disorderly conduct and released on $100 bail.Tim was charged with second degree assault, obstructing governmental administration, menacing, and resisting arrest. He was released on $2500 bail.
