A long, long time ago before he found his calling, Dale Mann was just a lowly wage-earner at the New Moon Drive-In Theatre.  A beloved relic of the past (the theatre, that is -- not Dale), the New Moon still captures the imagination today.  Did you know that working at the theatre made Dale a better hunter?  True story, bub.  Watch the video to find out how!

A live microphone is a dangerous thing, but a stupid DJ is even more dangerous.  Unfortunately, it happens to the best of us from time to time, because stupid DJ's also tend to have potty mouths.  In today's "Ask Dale Mann," Dale recounts some of his stupider moments.

Not everybody is going to love every song we play -- we realize that.  And we realize it because it happens to be true for us, too!  It might be worse for DJs, because we hear every song all day long, and there's no place to hide if you don't like one.

Radio contests are fun -- no doubt about it.  Some contests, however, can go in a direction you'd never expect.  In today's "Ask Dale Mann," we'll find out about the weirdest contest Dale was ever a part of.  Without giving anything away ...  let's just say that Dale didn't ask for the sticker back.  Wanna know more?  Sure you do.

Everyone remembers their first concert -- unless it happened when they were, like, 2.  But Dale has not only seen a lot of concerts, he's produced a few in his day, as well.  He's no stranger to the backstage.  So what was his first concert?  And what did Johnny Cash once do that impressed a young Dale so much that he'll never forget it?

Every once in a blue moon, you get the chance to see a performer before they hit the big time.  A lot of people have that story -- "I once saw Garth Brooks when he was NOBODY!"  So does Dale have a story like that?  Well, I'm betting he does.

Dale's been in the country music business a loooooong time.  (He used to have an office on Music Row in Nashville, in case you didn't know!)  So he's met a lot of the movers and shakers in the country music universe.  They can't ALL have been nice people ... right?
