In the movies High School Reunions are depicted as Prom 20 years later. A HUGE event where everybody in school reunites, with the Quarterback now a loser, the ugly ducking now beautiful, the bullied nerd is now mega rich, the hottest girl has 10 kids and looks ragged, yada~yada~yada...

This is it -- the night Barbe Bucs fans have been waiting for all season long.  Tonight, the boys in blue are in the Superdome facing down Archbishop Rummel High for the 5A State Championship, and we will have live, real-time updates all night long. UPDATE 10:25 Barbe loses to Archbishob Rummell with a score of 35-14.

It is finally here high school football fans!  The 2012 high school football season is underway.  Last night, a couple of lake area teams were in action in the football jamborees.  It’s teams last scrimmage to tune up before the regular season begins next week. Here is a look at the scores from last night and what games are on tap tonight.

Although he was run over by a car at 14-months-old and paralyzed from the waist down, Patrick Ivison didn’t let his disability stop him. In fact, the California native learned how to kayak, ski, play rugby and even surf. And now he has one more amazing feat to add to his accomplishments after managing to walk during his high school graduation on Tuesday.

Former Barbe Bus football player Janzen Jackson was dismissed from the University of Tennessee’s football program.  Janzen who is a junior at the school was released from the football program earlier today.
