Kellie Pickler releases her third studio album today (Jan. 24) and is sharing the stories behind each of the 11 tracks exclusively with Taste of Country. ’100 Proof’ plays almost like an autobiography of Pickler. There’s a song dedicated to her new husband and her father, as well as one inspired by her struggles to accept what’s left of her relationship with her mother.

It appears that Jason Aldean isn’t quite done bringing the party via his ‘My Kinda Party’ album. The famed dirt road-lovin’ singer is reportedly dropping one more song from the record, ‘Flyover States,’ as his next single.

If Taylor Swift stays true to her New Year’s resolutions, the meat of 2012 will resemble the end of 2011. The singer has touched on the new music that she’ll release next year and says that working with other artists is a goal for future projects.

Tim McGraw‘s old record label is letting the songs from the embattled ‘Emotional Traffic’ album trickle out one at a time. Just weeks ago, ‘Better Than I Used to Be‘ was released as a single within hours of a judge’s decision to separate the parties. Now, the song ‘Right Back Atcha Babe’ is available on iTunes.
