Cody Johnson is a huge favorite of Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas country fans. CoJo as his fans love to call him, has made his move from the Texas Country scene to the national country seen in Nashville, Tennessee.

Cody got his start touring and recording music on the Texas Country music scene back in 2006. Before Cody became a bonified country music star, he was a professional rodeo star. CoJo rode bulls professionally at local rodeos until the age of 19 when he started focusing on music full-time.

During his Texas Country time, Cody self-released six albums without a label. What is more impressive is that one of those albums called Gotta Be Me, debuted at number two on Billboard's Country Albums chart. That got Cody noticed in Nashville and 2019, he released his first major-label album on the Warner Nashville record label.

That record was called Ain't Nothin' To It which produced the hit On My Way To You. In 2021, Cody got rolling producing hit after hit after hit. He saw success with his songs Till You Can't, Human, and now his current single, The Painter.

Cody is currently headlining his tour and rolling all over the country playing for sell-out arenas. He will be making a stop right here in Louisiana on his The Leather Tour.

CoJo will be stopping in New Orleans to play on Friday, May 31st, 2024 at the Smoothie King Center in the Big Easy. He is also bringing his buddies, Chris Janson & Drake Milligan, to play for you.
