A few months ago we reported that Arena Football was coming back to Louisiana, and then we found out that it would be coming right here to Lake Charles for this season. It looks like they are still coming to Lake Charles, but it doesn't appear they will be playing all of their games in The Chuck.

The much-awaited return of the Louisiana Voodoo franchise, which participated in the league as the New Orleans Voodoo from 2004 to 2008 and again from 2010 to 2015, was confirmed by the Arena Football League (AFL).

The team announced that it would host all of its home games at the Lake Charles Event Center's Sudduth Coliseum as part of the organization's relaunch. James Shiver, a former head coach of the National Indoor Football League's Montgomery Maulers who won Coach of the Year, will lead the Voodoo in competition.

We are all excited to see the return of Arena Football to Louisiana, and even more excited to see it right here in Southwest Louisiana. All of the home games were originally slated to be played at the Lake Charles Event Center, but now it looks like the Voodoo MAY have found a second home in Southwest Louisiana. This comes after Inside The Arena made a post regarding the issue.

Here is the post.
