‘The Walking Dead’ Writer Says He Is ‘Disappointed’ in George R.R. Martin

Robert Kirkman told Rolling Stone that the "Game of Thrones" writer should not have let HBO overtake his story the way they chose to.

What's interesting is he says that George didn't stick to the books, yet the Walking Dead season six finale was very much a different take if you compare how the equivalent comic issue ended.

I love the Walking Dead but they totally ruined the season finale and always hype up the shows. Kirkman's fault for letting his show runner take control. Game of Thrones knows how to do cliffhangers the right way and the season has been awesome so far.
