Luckily, those lyrics couldn't be further from the truth for Chris Young. Even with multiple #1 singles, loyal fans, and a Christmas album on the way, this country crooner is still a down to Earth, humble dude.

Chris was recently asked what he was thankful for and his answer was 100% genuine and a little shocking when you consider all of the blessings in his life. The "Lonely Eyes" singer answered the questions by saying

"[It's more like], what am I NOT thankful for right now.  I've got an amazing family and an amazing job . . . this is the only thing I've ever wanted to do . . . so to be able to do it at this level [is] all I can really ask for."

And that, ladies and gentleman, is why Chris Young deserves every bit of his success.
