Will Wade Basketball Camp Back For Another Year In Lake Charles

With the basketball season in the rearview, all sights are set on the Will Wade Basketball Camp that is set to be held here in Lake Charles at the Legacy Center.

Wade is coming off leading the McNeese Cowboys to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in over 20 years. There is no better coach to learn from than Head Coach Will Wade. Coach Wade has made the NCAA Tournament six times, and with three different schools.

The McNeese Cowboys are coming off a remarkable season where Coach Wade and the gang with a 30-4 overall record. The Cowboys' program had never received a higher seed, and the 12-seed also corresponded with the highest seed a Southland Conference club has received in the previous 40 years (SFA in 2014 and 2015).

All students entering grades K–9 will be able to participate in the Will Wade Basketball Summer Camps again at McNeese State University in June and July!

Under the direction of Head Coach Will Wade, their team of accomplished coaches is dedicated to offering the best instruction possible in every facet of the game. In addition to making friends for life and learning new abilities both on and off the court, the campers will have the chance to have fun in a secure and encouraging setting.

Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced player, they will have the opportunity to learn and grow with peers who share their love of basketball.

The camps are divided into two sessions:

DATES: June 24 - June 27 & July 15 - July 18

COST: $225 per camper per session (lunch and camp t-shirt provided!)

LOCATION: Legacy Center on McNeese State University Campus
