One of the most anticipated returns is about to happen as McNeese Basketball coach Will Wade is set to make his return to the court and coaching Wednesday night in Lake Charles.

Will Wade was hired by the McNeese Athletic Department last year and has been serving a 10-game suspension to start the 2023-2024 basketball season. Most of the McNeese fans were scared that with the absence of Wade on the court, how would the McNeese Men's basketball team fair?

The Cowboys men's team has been burning up the court. They have started their 2023-2024 campaign with a record of 8-2 so far this season. The only two losses the Pokes have suffered are to Western Carolina and Louisiana Tech. Impressive, the Cowboys lost those games by only a combined 11 points. They could easily be 10-0 right now. That is how close it was.
