Get ready because it's back.  The 2016 Marshland Festival is the biggest festival in Southwest Louisiana and it is returning back to Lake Charles on July 29th and 30th.  The festival is held inside the Lake Charles Civic Center Coliseum every year.  Ah Air conditioning!

The festival is based out of Hackberry Louisiana and benefits the youth of Hackberry with scholarships and other youth programs.

The festival is full of great food, and huge arts and crafts shopping experience and of course great musical entertainment.

This years entertainment lineup is chopped full of great local and national entertainment. On Friday night, the headliner is local favorite "The Flamethrowers"   They are a high energy variety band that you have seen all over Southwest Louisiana.

On Saturday night, Curb Records Country music recording artist Mo Pitney will headline Saturday night.  Mo Pitney is a young artist with an old soul.  He is classic country with a steel guitar and a fiddle in the band and his deep country roots, this will be a great show for country music lovers!
