Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM]- Jeep lovers and beachgoers alike are gearing up for one of the most unique and high-energy events on the Louisiana coast. The annual Go Topless Weekend is returning to Holly Beach, also known as the “Cajun Riviera”, and it’s expected to be bigger and better than ever.

What started years ago as a fun way for Jeep owners to celebrate the arrival of warm weather has grown into a full-blown coastal tradition. Inspired by National Go Topless Day, the event encourages Jeep enthusiasts to remove their tops, hit the road, and enjoy the open-air freedom that comes with it.

Now, it draws crowds from all across the region, turning the beachfront into a vibrant gathering of off-road vehicles, music, and nonstop fun. This year’s celebration is set for May 16, with activities continuing throughout the weekend.

Best of all, the event is free and open to the public, making it easy for anyone to join in on the excitement. Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere filled with live music, beach games, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow Jeep fans.

From friendly competitions like tug-of-war and musical chairs to crowd-favorite contests like bikini and mankini competitions, there’s never a dull moment. And of course, one of the biggest highlights is seeing hundreds of Jeeps cruising along the coastline, creating a one-of-a-kind beach scene you won’t find anywhere else.

The event is free to attend. Whether you’re bringing your own Jeep or just coming to soak up the atmosphere, Go Topless Weekend on the Cajun Riviera is shaping up to be an unforgettable coastal party.
