A New Restaurant is Being Built In Westlake, Louisiana

In Southwest Louisiana, we always love seeing new businesses and restaurants being built and coming to the area. In the past couple of years, we have seen some great things come to the lake area.

Such is the case with new restaurants like Jersey Mike's, Chicken Salad Chick, Blue Iguana, and of course, Whataburger that have been built and are all now open in the Southwest Louisiana area.

If you have driven down Sampson Street in Westlake lately you may have noticed that there is some construction going on right next to the building where the Subway restaurant used to be. Yes, they are building something right next to that building, and we now know what it will be.

The restaurant we are talking about already has locations all over Southwest Louisiana. They have locations in Lake Charles on Lakeshore Drive, on Nelson Road, On Highway 14. There are also locations in Moss Bluff and Sulphur.

Now one is going to be built in Westlake on the main drag on Sampson Street. The restaurant we are talking about of course is the Waffle House. The folks over at Discovering Southwest Louisiana broke the news on Facebook.

As you can see from the post, this will be the 7th location of Waffle House in Southwest Louisiana. There has been no report on when the building will be finished and when it will open yet. We will keep our eye out and when we find out, we will pass it along to you.
