
A Southwest Louisiana Restaurant Is Closing Down This Week
The hits keep coming for local businesses here in Southwest Louisiana as another local restaurant has announced it will close its doors at the end of the week.
We have already seen many Southwest Louisiana businesses shut their doors in 2023. Businesses like O'Charley's, Bed Bath & Beyond, KFC, Gap, The Back Porch, Boombox Frozen Pops and Ice Cream, Bourg Fresh Seafood, and Sweet Treats
Things have been extremely difficult here in Southwest Louisiana over the last few years with the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Hurricanes that ravaged our area. Not to mention the price of everything in the world is on the rise.
There is another local business that looks like it will be closing its doors here in 2023. As announced Tuesday Morning, Brick House Creamery will be closing its doors. Here is the note from the owners:
We will be closing down the restaurant this week after we sell out of everything… We will honor gifts cards as long as we are still open!! Thank you all of the love and support, we sure appreciate it.
Brick House Creamery is a restaurant specializing in Ice cream, hamburgers, desserts, and many other items. They are located at 204 Patton St suite 1, Sulphur, LA
Since the announcement on Tuesday Morning, fans of Brick House Creamery have not taken the closing lightly. Here are some of the responses to the announcement.

It does appear they will be open for the rest of the week, or until their supplies run out, so if you want to continue to support a LOCAL business go see the folks at Brick House Creamery and wish them well!
