All Star Louisiana Swamp Pop Christmas Concert Set For December 12 — Entertainment Line Up
If your from Louisiana then you know what Swamp pop music is! If your not, let me describe it for you. It's like Motown music meets Louisiana and tells great stories! I grew up on Cajun and Swamp Pop music. It's just apart of our culture here in Louisiana. This year I am also proud to be a part of the show as I have been asked to be the emcee for the event so I am super excited about that too.
Well on Saturday December 12th the greats of Louisiana Swamp pop come together for one special day and night of great music and celebrate the Christmas season as well.
Coushatta Casino Resort is holding their annual Swamp Pop Christmas concert in the main pavilion with a all star lineup of the who's who of Louisiana Swamp Pop. Plus a special guest for the end of the show. The legendary B.J. Thomas will perform live!
B.J Thomas has been playing music since 1966 and has had tremendous success with hits like "Hooked on a Feeling", "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head", "I Just Can't Help Believing", and "(Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song" just to name a few!
