Here is a cool success story for you. In South Louisiana and especially here in Southwest Louisiana, we have a ton of talented local country artists. Each week you can see some of the greatest country artists in the country play right here in your backyard.

That is one reason why Gator 99.5 supports our local artists by booking them for festivals and shows, interviewing them on the radio, and playing their music here during our hometown country segments each day.

One of the country artists we have played on the air and have had in our studio is Bryan Martin. Bryan is from Logansport, Louisiana, and has been playing country music for a while now and has played in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana quite a few times.

Check out this picture from back in 2015 when Bryan, in the blue shirt, came by our studio.

Then back in 2016, Bryan had a single out called 'Oilfield Dad' that was getting some major attention and was well known around here. You can see that video and hear the song here.

At one time, Bryan Martin was part of the Bouboyz record label group and performed live during some of their shows at Cowboys nightclub in Lake Charles with Doug Stone and Shenandoah. Bryan also stopped by our studio several times for an interview, sing a song on the air with us, and just let us know more about him.

Since then he has been playing music and opening up for some big names artists on tour. Now Bryan has his first single headed to national country radio that he co-wrote with Vernon Brown.

The song is called We Ride and Gator 99.5 will start playing next week along with other radio stations around the country. Check out the video for the song.

Congrats to Bryan on his first single headed to national country radio and Gator 99.5 is so happy we were there back when you got started and support you 100%.
