Athlete of the Week — Hadley Warner
This week’s “Don’s Automotive Group Athlete Of The Week” is Hadley Warner. Hadley is 12 years old, and is in the 7th grade at Our Lady Catholic School - in fact, he just transferred this week! Hadley previously attended Vinton Middle School, were he played JV QB on Vinton Middle School's football team.
Hadley was invited to play in the EPS all American game in Dallas. He started out playing football on a local team in town called Can't Touch This Flag Football, which his parents started and coached in 2011. Meanwhile, Hadley also started playing t-ball through Vinton's local recreation program.
Currently, Hadley plays tournament baseball for LA Bolt where he plays catcher, short stop, and pitcher! He has been nominated the last 3 years to participate in the LA USSSA ALL State games.
Now, while sports keep this young man busy, Hadley is involved in many other arenas, as well. In addition to sports, Hadley is a member of the student council, Beta Jr. and 4H! As part of his involvement in 4H, Hadley raises and shows pigs. Where does this kid find the time? Well, wait. There's more!
Despite the fact that Hadley is involved in so many extra curricular activities, he maintains Honor Roll grades at school. This young man has a very promising future, no matter what he sets his mind to do.
Hadley has been playing baseball since age 4, football since age 6, and showing pigs since age 9. He enjoys working on his QB skills so he can become the next Drew Brees.
We think he may be well on his way!
