Attention 90’s Kids, Alanis Morissette is Back
No, she's not country music, but her music was certainly a huge deal back in the days of Friday night sitcoms, coffee shops, and questionable crop top clothing. She announced the 2020 tour on Monday stating that it will be at 31-date tour stopping all over America, including Nashville. So far, that seems to be as close she will come, but official tour dates and locations have not yet been announced.
To add further to the 90's submersion, she will be bringing along a few friends for this tour. Liz Phair and Garbage will be along as openers for the tour, and that just makes my 90's grunge heart leap with joy. Morissette came onto the scene with her album Jagged Little Pill, which has sold over 15 million copies and is now a Broadway show. According to her website, she has a new album set to come out in May of 2020.
