The actress, best known for her roles in the original ‘Superman’ movies as well as a trio of horror classics, has died at the age of 69.

Quentin Tarantino is not only developing a Star Trek movie with J.J. Abrams, but he’s convinced Paramount to let him make an R-rated feature. And if Paramount can get behind that wacky insanity, then who knows what other zany tricks are up Tarantino’s sleeve — all of which is to say that maybe we shouldn’t be surprised every time there’s a new story about this movie. Anything is possible, including the potential for Patrick Stewart to reprise his role as Jean-Luc Picard, which is exactly what he’d like to do.

The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War dropped this week, offering fans a sneak peek at Marvel’s biggest film to date. Featuring the largest collection of MCU characters to appear together on screen, Joe and Anthony Russo’s super-sequel will pit our heroes against Thanos in a massive war over the fate of the universe. As such, we can expect a few of our favorite superheroes to bite the dust, but we now know of at least one more who will survive the Infinity War to appear in Avengers 4. Potential spoilers ahead!

Not long after Ben Affleck issued his statement on Weinstein’s deplorable behavior, the actor was hit with allegations of his own.

How are you reading this?), Sony wants to make it perfectly clear: Spider-Man is pals with the Avengers now, and thanks to the participation of Marvel, the latest reboot of everyone’s favorite web-slinging superhero features a few familiar faces from the MCU. The new (and extended) TV spot for Spider-Man: Homecoming leans pretty heavily on that element with some serious shout-outs to Spidey’s super-friends.

Don Rickles’ talents were seemingly limitless: An outrageous insult comic, a gifted dramatic actor, a welcome sight on stages and screens (big and small), and a constant presence whose career endured for decades, often surpassing his contemporaries. And now he’s gone on to join them, as the legendary Rickles passed away today, April 6, at the age of 90.

Margot Robbie wasted no time leveraging her stardom into producing her own projects, including an upcoming DC all-female super-villain ensemble film (in which she’ll reprise the role of Harley Quinn) and, perhaps more interestingly, a biopic about disgraced former figure skater Tonya Harding. Today brings our first look at Robbie’s transformation for the title role in I, Tonya, which is a bit more physically involved than you might expect.

If you’ve ever wondered what a Tim Burton movie starring Will Smith would look like, you might find out relatively soon. The actor is reportedly circling a role in Disney’s live-action remake of Dumbo, which Burton has been attached to direct for some time now. After delivering the disappointing one-two punch of Suicide Squad and Collateral Beauty, Smith sure could use a win, and joining Disney’s growing empire of live-action remakes seems like a pretty safe bet.

La La Land’s backlash arrived a little later than expected this awards season, but that didn’t stop the jazzy bittersweet musical from claiming a top prize at the 2017 Golden Globe awards. In one of the least surprising moments of the evening, Damien Chazelle’s Whiplash follow-up received the award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Next stop: The Oscars, most likely.

Without knowing the scope of Carrie Fisher’s role in the upcoming Star Wars sequels, it’s difficult to speculate about how Lucasfilm might address her recent passing. But a new report has uncovered key details (and potential spoilers) regarding General Leia’s narrative arc in Episodes VIII and IX, and reveals that Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy is planning to meet with director Colin Trevorrow next week to contemplate their options for Leia’s role in the forthcoming sequels.
