Blue Bell Ice Cream has been a staple in the South for years, and honestly, it’s hard to beat when it comes to flavor and creaminess. Some of my personal favorites are Homemade Vanilla, which is a classic for a reason, and Cookies ’n Cream, packed with big chunks of chocolate cookies. I also love their Dutch Chocolate and Strawberry, especially during the summer. Blue Bell keeps things interesting with seasonal flavors, too, and it’s always exciting to see what they’ll come out with next!

Blue Bell Announces New Flavor, Honey Vanilla

Blue Bell Creameries is rolling out a brand-new flavor just in time for spring. It’s called Honey Vanilla, and it’s hitting store shelves starting Thursday, February 26.

The flavor is just what it sounds like... Smooth vanilla ice cream mixed with the mild sweetness of honey. Blue Bell says it’s “simple and delicious.”

Carl Breed, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, said they are “buzzing with excitement” about the first new flavor of 2026. He said Honey Vanilla is perfect for people who love classic flavors done right. The creamy texture blends with the light honey taste to make an easy, sweet treat.

Blue Bell Bringing Back Popular Java Jolt

That's not only the good news, though...

A fan-favorite flavor, Java Jolt, is also coming back to stores this month. Java Jolt is made with coffee ice cream, dark chocolate chunks, and a rich coffee fudge swirl. Like Honey Vanilla, it will also be sold in pint-size cartons while supplies last.
